All smiles at Australian Dental Council

Hootville’s Brett de Hoedt just completed the third of three sessions with a cross-section of the team at Australian Dental Council. He delivered a specialised version of his presentation / public speaking workshop Presentation Savvy.

Instead of focussing on typical keynotes and public speaking scenarios, he focussed on the highly specialised and formatted presentations / interactions this group has with its stakeholders - those in or wanting to join the dental profession.

We found new ways to personalise these presentations, investigated key audiences, reinforced the value of effective communication and rehearsed very specific scenarios such as informing a prospective dentist that they have failed the entrance exam to work in Australia (again).

Every contact an organisation has with their public is a moment of truth. Brett is staggered at how often staff are left to work it out on their own.
